- 1/4 cup farsan or sev
- Lemon wedges

- 8 Pav buns
- 2 tbsp butter
How to make Misal Pav
Instructions:
In a pressure cooker, add sprouted moth beans or mung beans, water, and a pinch of salt. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 whistles. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.
In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once they start to crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili and sauté for a minute. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, and sauté for a few seconds.
Add the cooked sprouted beans to the pan and mix well with the gravy. Cook for a few minutes until the gravy thickens.
In another pan, melt butter and toast the Pav buns until they turn golden brown.
To serve, place a ladle of Misal in a bowl, top it with chopped onions, tomatoes, farsan, and coriander leaves. Squeeze some lemon juice on top and serve hot with Pav buns.
